NOTICE - May 24 (with info recieved May 23 snail mail) - On Saturday, May 12, the Executive Committee met and finalized the format, dates and most rankings for the WPSLA Playoff Championship format.
Guidelines include that the host team is determined by ranking and not by regular season score. Example: Upper St. Clair beats North Allegheny during the regular season. USC playoff ranking is 7th while NA is 3rd. NA is the host team. The higher seeded team is host throughout the playoffs.
Host teams MUST provide certified medical personnel prior to start of game. No game should begin without the required certified medical personnel, scorer's table, game and penalty timers, multiple end line balls or preferably enders.
Division 2 and 3 rankings have been determined, with Division 1 rankings to be finalized the evening of Wednesday, May 16th.
Good sportsmanship and cooperation throughout the playoffs will be expected from each and every team. Parents and Coaches will be relied upon to convey and mandate these requirements in order to ensure the highest level of quality competition.
The WPSLA Championship game is tentatively scheduled to be played at Peters Township HS on Saturday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. - Frank LoCastro - Pres. WPSLA
