different answer . expect many thumbs down on this . ballet is the most physically demanding art/sport in the world . exceeds any olympic athelete . hard choice baton, cheerleading . both are sports , more thumbs down . my opinion as retired pro athelete . baton is more difficult individual sport . no room for error . cheer leaders . practice longer than teams they do cheer for , requires intelligence , well above average , since longer practices equal less study time . better teamwork than team cheering for , no room at all for error , players on field make mistakes every play , teammates cover errors . cheer leaders are not afforded the room for small error . three ratings , many thumbs down . you did not include ballet , as a sport . it is the hardest by far . i would have to vote cheerleading by the slimest of margins over baton . if ballet was included . no brainer . number one . you are a very gifted , intelligent athelete . i hope your answers give you the respect that you have earned through hard work , both physically and mentally . congratulations on your present acheviments , and your great future . well done

Discover The Hidden Talent In Your Child
Talent shows are a great opportunity for kids to showcase their skills. Talent shows held at schools are normally the most anticipated events. You must remember the time when you bought a piano cover or piano bench covers along with other accessories to help your child learn how to play the piano. However, you are not alone to have that amazing experience. Many parents love to see their kids preparing for the talent show at school.
You can surely become a part of their practice and help them decide which talent to opt for. This proves to be an ideal way to boost the confidence of your child. Here are some ideas with which you can help your kid recognize what he/she really loves to do.
Singing
This option is mostly chosen by more confident kids. It is mostly an inborn ability that a child can possess. Normally when a child wishes to sing, he knows what type of songs will suit his voice better. Therefore, all he needs is a little bit of practice to prepare for an excellent performance. Parents can play an important role in this regard. They can encourage the kid to sing a montage of a few songs.
Acting
To prove his/her skills in acting, you can make your child act on some scene from a movie or play. It is a common observation that kids tend to catch acting skills quicker than adults. Obviously, they need to have some prior talent to make it big in front of the audience.
Dance
Another field in which your child can prove his/her skills is dance. Kids really love dancing. In talent shows, all forms of dance should be encouraged, but there should be more emphasis on main stream forms of dances. For instance, kids will simply enjoy dancing on African beats. So organize unique dances that can be fun and a learning experience at the same time.
Physical Activity
Apart from dancing, there are various types of other physical activities. The popular ones are cheerleading, gymnastics, baton twirling, etc. The performances in physical activity are supported by background music which makes it even more fun. If it is gymnastics you have chosen, then do not forget to place a mat on stage. A child can also be encouraged for cheerleading in which case he/she has to choose a partner.
Painting
Like any other art, this talent needs to be encouraged as well. Here again you can try some positive reinforcements like saying, "what a nice painting" or, "the choice of colors is fabulous." Avoid criticism and just appreciate the creative attempts of your child. This will really help him/her prepare for the talent show.
Sports
If you think your child is a natural with a bat or has real sporting skills, then encourage him/her for this particular talent. The best way to see your child's true character is when he/she is around his/her friends. Allow them to play in your backyard so that they can give a good performance in the actual game.
