Inadequate pool pump?
I recently bought an inexpensive above ground swimming pool for my use alone. I am very disappointed by the pump size included in the package though I don't expect the greatest due to what I can afford right now. I have been able to keep the water balanced chemically and have not had any algae problems though there is dirt at the bottom of the pool that I can't vacuum up with the pool vacuum due to poor suction of the pump. I can't afford a bigger pump. As long as I can keep the water balanced, is there any other kind of vacuum that I can purchase to keep the bottom of the pool dirt free? I maintain the chemicals of the water routinely otherwise.

Let me guess you have the Pump with paper filters. A small sand Filter would do the trick so much better, and it does not cost very much. Just go to Ebay and put in Pool Pumps( In Search) and all kinda things and prices will pop up. Its the end of the Summer and you will probably be able to get a good deal. Your vacumn will probably work just fine with the Sand Filter..
