1. Motor

Is a WARN winch a good brand to put on an ATV for a snowplow?
We keep having problems with winches failing on our ATV. We use the winch to pull up the Moose snowplow we have attached to the ATV - I think this plow is 4 feet across, could be 5 feet and is a hundred pounds or so. The ATV guy says WARN winches are really good, and we won't be stripping gears anymore.
Any opinions out there? Thanks in advance!
by the way, our driveway is 1/4 mile long so it is REALLY awful when the winch doesn't work.

Warn products are "bullet proof". i have used warn winches on my 4x4's and ATVS since i was able to and warn hubs on my trucks as well. i have never had a part fail and where i live that is very important.
i can't count the number of times i have used them when i was stuck, when others were stuck and even to pull a big northern moose or two out of a swamp.
go ahead and buy one. you won't be sorry.
